Today’s drink was a Summer Spritz. Made with Lyre’s Italian spritz, fresh berries, pop of sour, and elderflower tonic, it was the perfect summer drink. Very refreshing and reminded me of fruit punch soda. It is definitely not a bad thing. It looked as fancy as a regular spritz but was alcohol free! The fruit had such a freshly cut taste and the drink provided the opportunity to dabble into “Free of Alcohol” territory. I would definitely try this again along with some of their other drinks under the same category. I’m keeping my eye on their Spicy Passion Fruit drink with jalapeño basil, fresh lemon, club soda and sprite.

I promised this only out of curiosity and not because I might be a borderline alcoholic (“wink, wink!”). It’s nice to have a cute meal without alcohol from time to time. Especially if catching up with a good friend and trying to come up with a plan now that I am an unemployed creative?
