Atrium Estiatorio: The Drinks (Charlie’s POV)

The “long walk” from the mall to the restaurant had me parched, LOL! The great thing about getting to the restaurant early was that the bar was open and Nathon (our server) was ready to get us those drinks.

I ended up going for the Mykonos Kiss. I can’t say I’m a big fan of vodka, but I was feeling a little “peachy” after a long week of rewrites for my new play, and “peachy” it was! “Cute” is the best word I would use to describe it. I could taste the peach, I could taste the lemon, and most importantly, I could taste the vodka. Although I thought it needed more vodka, duh! Nothing special but good enough for a starter drink.

After downing the earlier drink, which felt like I did in one sip, I asked Nathon for another similar drink. He suggested the Atrium Bliss. I didn’t even wanna know what was in it. I fully trusted him. It apparently had velvet falernum and passionfruit and plenty of Belvedere Heritage 176. It was tropical enough for me and just the perfect amount of what? You guessed it, alcohol! Also, Nathon said that they might have added more vodka than they usually do, and I was ok with that. They both tasted the way they were described and served their purpose. They were simply “cute” and we’ll leave it at that.
